Guaranteed Weight Loss

Here are a few quick, easy, fool-proof ways to drop a couple of extra pounds. It worked for me and it can work for you!

All you have to do is type into Google "weight-loss" to see the thousands of ways out there to lose weight. Most of them include paying a fee for a certain program or device that is going to allow you to lose weight with little or no effort. Simply strap on this device or drink this liquid for the next month and you are guaranteed to lose weight. Unfortunately, losing weight never has been or ever will be that easy. But, if you follow two simple steps I guarantee you will be able to drop between 5-10 lbs. a month and not have to drastically change your lifestyle.

First, you have to cut sugar completely out of your diet. There are a lot of really great sugar substitutes these days such as Splenda, Sweet & Low, etc. Find one that you like and use that instead of anything you would but sugar on. You also need to be pretty strict on this rule and really examine the things you eat. If your cereal or even something as simple as bread has a lot of sugar in it, look for a substitute with little or less than 2 grams of sugar per serving in it. Refined sugar is basically empty calories and few of us realize how much we actually eat. One kind of sugar I would recommend to keep eating is natural fruit sugar. All fruits actually have quite a bit of naturally occurring sugar in them but it is all natural and healthy and is not the kind of sugar that causes weight gain. So if you are absolutely craving something sweet, choose something sweetened with Splenda, or better yet, eat some strawberries or blueberries!

The second thing is you have to exercise at least 3 times a week. So many diets these days tell you that you can lose weight without exercise. But the reality is that it is virtually impossible to lose weight outside of fasting and not eating at all to lose weight. But find something that is easily done during your normal day of work or activity. Don't join a gym or try to change your routine drastically. Rather, find something that you already do (like, take the stairs at work instead of the elevator) and simply do it more often. You probably do some form of light exercise already everyday, so simply find a way to do that exercise or something similar for 20 minutes instead of 5 minutes.

I started doing this about three months ago and I have dropped 15 lbs. The great thing has been that I really haven't changed my lifestyle a whole lot and I feel so much better without those extra pounds!
