First off, some rules:
- Cut out pop, juice, and any drinks that contain a lot of caffeine or sugar.
- Cut out all condiments.
- Cut out white bread and rice, switch to Ramen noodles and sourdough English muffins.
- Cut out red meat and switch to chicken an tuna packed in water.
- Switch from American cheese to low fat string cheese or provolone cheese.
- Buy a safe, natural laxative. Can be found at Swanson Vitamins.
Sample Diet Plan
Breakfast
- 1 English muffin with a little Smart Balance butter
- 1 low fat string cheese
- 16 oz. bottled water

Fruit smoothie made with your choice of fruit and yogurt.
Lunch: Chicken Stir-fry
Ingredients
- extra virgin olive oil
- 4 oz. diced cubed chicken breast
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 cups fresh chopped mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped fresh broccoli
- 1 cup chopped fresh carrot
- 1 cup chopped fresh cauliflower
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced green, red, and yellow peppers
- Heat 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil in a wok.
- Sautee until chicken is done thoroughly. Add only spices that are salt free or natural. I recommend Grill Mates Salt-free Chicken seasoning as well as parsley, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and lemon juice. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil in a wok. Add the vegetables. Sautee over medium heat until vegetables are heated through but not so long the veggies get mushy. I like them to be crunchy. Mix with chicken mixture and heat over low heat until everything is hot.
- Make 1-2 packages of Ramen noodles without the seasoning. Drain noodles. Put noodles on the plate and top with veggies and chicken. Enjoy.
Mid-Morning and Afternoon Snack
- 1 Granny Smith green apple
- 1 8oz. cup of hot green tea
Green tea has been known the help boost metabolism as well as be a great antioxidant.
Dinner: Tuna Salad
- 2 cups lettuce
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- ½ cup diced fresh mushrooms
- ¼ cup diced onions
- 6 oz tuna packed in water
- Dressing: ½ cup plain yogurt
- ¼ cup salsa
Mix the amounts until you get your desired taste and consistency. This is a great alternative to ranch dressing.
