Before heart attacks were virtually unknown in Asia but very common in western countries. Today is not good because western lifestyle and western food “hooped” the pacific. Gradually, Asian like Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, you name it, began experiencing heart attacks, so that now there is virtually epidemic of coronary heart disease throughout Far East.
We all know that, atherosclerosis is caused by eating too rich a diet, especially animal products high in cholesterol like meat, dairy products, eggs, cheese, and all kinds of fried foods. The good thing is that you can escape this problem by going back to the simpler diets which formerly kept Asians from having this disease. Also today diet can be greatly expanded by many delicious, healthful foods made by impossible by advanced food technology, increased agriculture knowledge, and improve transportation of a wider variety of fruits and vegetables.
There is also a good thing about exercise. Our modern, fast pace often leaves little time for exercise. Most of us are not working long hours exercising in the fields as our ancestors did. But most of us can walk a few kilometer a day, walking is the very best exercise to keep our body in good health.
