The Best Way to Lose Weight

Diet and exercise in combination is the only way to go. Either, on its own, is not enough and not sustainable, but both together work to compliment each other.

What is the answer to the age-old question of "What is the best way to lose weight?", is it diet, exercise, natural remedies, pills, potions, surgery?

Well, if any of these natural remedies, pills, potions, or surgery worked, there wouldn't be a question, it would be a quick and EASY answer.

However, this is the real world and relying on the quick and easy solution isn't always the best way of tackling a problem, sometimes it works temporarily, but when it doesn't or you require a more sustainable solution, we have to resort to the methods that we KNOW WILL work.

Good nutrition with targeted exercise has the following benefits:

  • build muscle and reduce body fat.
  • energize and reduce fatigue
  • increase mental alertness
  • increase lung function
  • reduce stress

How then can the other remedies possibly compare, especially when diet and exercise is so easily sustained.

You're absolutely right! I've been dieting for a month now but being an over-the-road truck driver I don't get to exercise so, I've not lost much weight at all. The two go hand in hand...
