The Secret
If you keep this little secret in mind through all of this, you will not only understand better, but you will not have to remember so much in the end.
**Energy in must be decreased and energy out must be increased.**
Energy In
I will keep things as simple as possible as the technicalities mean very little to most people. Calories have a lot to do with making the change and are usually the first place to start. Remember the food pyramid, well it serves a purpose. The new pyramid has great features to help plan a nutritional diet in addition to setting up recommendations for you when you personally when you enter your information.
Fast paced lives lead to little time for cooking healthy meals. It is strongly encouraged that eating out anywhere - fast food, restaurants, cafeterias - occurs one time a week or less. More than that will often put you over your calorie allowance. This will not only be healthier, but it will save you money in the long run.
Check back next week for the second lesson where we will continue to explore the weighty side of Energy In. Before then, build your pyramid, and visit my blog.
