Nursing is a worthwhile profession for young people to go into. There is job security and the satisfaction of helping other people. Some states forgive as much as $25,000 per year if you commit to teach at an in-state college for two years.

Our hospitals and medical teams are stretched to capacity and patients are being attended to in the corridors of our hospitals, as there are no other rooms for them to be seen in! Why is this?

Understanding the Nursing World

Nursing is perhaps one of the most overlooked and underrated jobs in the working world. It has always been stereotyped as having low pay, non-flexible working hours, unexciting and nurses constantly work under very stressful conditions. Is this so? Here i will attempt to correct some of the misperceptions surrounding thid profession and shed light on what plights and joys nurses experience in their work.
