Natural Remedies to Colic
by Jejeizahfaye, Jan 23, 2007
Episodes of crying, fussing, irritability, and distended abdomen are symptoms of colic. The baby’s face may be flushed, the feet may be cold, and often the hands are clenched. Relieve may come with a bowel movement or passage of gas. The symptoms generally begin after feeding and became worse late in the day. The infant may make sucking motions and appear to be searching for food. Colic is common in the newborn, generally starting at two to four weeks of age, and usually ceases during the third or fourth month.
