Heart Patients Can Improve Oxygenation and Blood Flow to the Brain
by Artour, Sep 5, 2008
A typical image of a heart patient associates, in our minds, with grumpiness, irritability, mood swings, poor quality of sleep, complaints about headaches, and general nervous and mental instability. What is the mechanism? Are there any solutions? Doctor Konstantin Buteyko developed the Buteyko oxygenation therapy (or the Buteyko breathing method) to solve various health problems related to poor body oxygenation and perfusion.

Why the Immune System is Weak for All Chronic Diseases and Solutions
by Artour, Sep 5, 2008
People with numerous chronic health problems have an impaired immune system. Why does it take place? All chronic diseases have tissue hypoxia (or low level of oxygen in the cells of the body) as a common feature. Numerous medical published studies clearly showed that modern patients breathe about 2-3 times more air than the medical norm. The most successful solution of poor body oxygenation was developed by Russian physiologist and Doctor of Medical Sciences Konstantin Buteyko, MD. His medical self-oxygenation therapy is used by about 200 family physicians in Russia.

Why Current Air Composition (20% O2, 80% N2) is Poisonous to Us
by Artour, Sep 3, 2008
Overbreathing alone can easily kill any of us in a matter of minutes. In fact, chronically sick people have heavy breathing 24/7. This causes numerous negative effects, due to CO2 deficiency, including REDUCED body oxygenation. Severely sick people usually die in conditions of severe hyperventilation. This was not the case millions of years ago, at the time, when prototypes of our lungs were evolving and air composition was very different. Our remote predecessors did not and could not die due to over-breathing. Why? Their air had less than 1% O2.
